These are the Oculus Rift games launching in December

Maybe you grew up watching Muhammad Ali or Mike Tyson fight and you always wanted to know what it felt like to be on the winning end of the boxing glove. Maybe watching Ronda Rousey got you hankering to try boxing out for yourself. Being able to step into the ring without years of training, or the knowledge that you are gonna walk away bruised and bloody has never been an option before.

Well, Virtual Reality is changing all of that with boxing games that don't require much skill or any physical injury to enjoy. We've got the best of the best for you here!

Thrill of the Fight

Graphics wise, Thrill of the Fight is definitely trying to be a bit more of a realistic art style. As for the gameplay, it seems as if they are aiming for the experience of what it's like to be a boxer in real life. You can practice your punches in the studio ring, or take it to the limelight and fight the competition. With the price being marked at $10.99 it's a good bargain for getting your fill of the boxing life.

Unfortunately, it was rather difficult to stay interested in. If you're just looking to iron out a hankering to throw a few punches or have a few laughs with your friends this would be the game you buy once and perhaps play a handful more times in your life. If you're looking for a game that's going to captivate you with a fun and captivating experience, I suggest moving on to the next recommendations!

Knockout League

Overall, Knockout League definitely seems more fun in the sense of story, with their goofy characters and hilarious catchphrases. This was a game I could play with my friends and a few glasses of wine, or my nephews with a few glasses of juice. The amount of fun was endless. I mean, you can fight an octopus wearing a monocle and top hat for crying out loud. Although the art if more cartoon instead of realistic, it looks phenomenal and captivates you into the experience. For all of these reasons Knockout League absolutely knocks it out of the park.

If you're looking for the best boxing game, that's the one you need! For $19.99 and endless fun, this game is absolutely worth it.

Boom Boxing

Boom Boxing was a great experience for boxing in VR. The only reason it didn't make it to the top was that Thrill of the Fight and Knockout League had it beat by graphics from the go. While the gameplay was fun, I found it not as smooth and a little laggy compared to the others. But, if you're on a budget and just wanna box, for $0.99 you can't beat it!

Feral Rites

Feral Rites isn't a boxing game, but it's made it to this list for a reason. This RPG adventure has you roaming around, solving puzzles, and fighting with your bare fists. So, if you're looking for a boxing game specifically this might not be for you. But if you're looking for a fun, action-packed fist fighting game, I totally recommend it.
