The conversation about Virtual Reality starts now!We here at VRheads have a single, simple mission — invite everyone to talk about VR. Not one particular kind of VR, either. We're at this fascinating stage in the development of this technology where there's something for everyone. Virtual Reality is being aimed at consumers in a way that has never been possible before, and at the same time tools exist for people of every skill level to build something amazing and unique for these platforms. The 360-degree video from the seat of a motorcycle, the hyper-realistic space simulator, and the room-scale puzzle game are all amazing and ready to share with everyone. Through these experiences we can share tips for future users who aren't sure where to start, and best practices from veterans who have been in VR from the Dactyl Nightmare days.
Creating that conversation means more than building a website that shares the news and offers up some reviews — though we're absolutely going to be doing some of that. We're not here to be your one-stop-shop for all things VR, rather the place you go to see what everyone else who loves all of this crazy tech is up to. It doesn't matter if you're a Google Cardboard owner watching a cool 360-degree video on YouTube, or an HTC Vive owner ready to show off finger integration in Mixed Reality after mounting a Leap Motion to the headset, there will be people here ready to appreciate your experiences and share their own.
Everyone here is going to be working day and night to bring this experience to light, and I'm going to be doing my best to lead the charge. VR has been a passion of mine since I was a child, and having followed the developments of everything currently available for the last couple of years, I'm looking forward to diving in and dedicating as much time as possible to making this site something everyone can love and be a part of. As a part of the Mobile Nations team, VRHeads has the support of the best team I've ever worked with, and we're all going to do our part to make this site something incredible.
