Rift Core 2.0 has given users tons of great new options when it comes to their experiences in VR. Of course to take advantage of those, you'll need to know where everything is hiding. Accessing your keyboard, or resizing one of the windows in front of you is easy, and just takes a few moments with your controller.

We have the details for you here.

How to access the Keyboard

In order to navigate across the internet, you'll need to pull up your keyboard which is initially nowhere to be found. This is because you'll need to open it up, thankfully this is a very easy process.

  1. Point at the Keyboard button in the lower right corner of the window.
  2. Pull the trigger on your Touch Controller.

Doing this will pull up your keyboard. From there you can type using an extended forefinger, or by using your Touch Controller.

How to resize windows

Resizing windows with Rift Core 2.0 means that you can now have multiple windows open at the same time, all displaying in front of you. Of course to do that, you'll need to resize them so everything looks the way you want it to.

While gripping a window, you get access to resizing controls using your Touch controller joystick.

  • Pressing up will move the window away from you.
  • Pressing down will move the window closer to you.
  • Pressing left makes the window smaller.
  • Pressing right makes the window larger.

With the new updates from Rift Core 2.0 you have more options than ever when using your Oculus Rift. While there is a lot of new to delve into, thankfully figuring everything out is pretty easy.
