How to add Oculus Rift games to your wishlist

The next major Oculus Rift update, Rift Core 2.0 is available through the Public Test Channel, and it has brought us a ton of new changes to both the Oculus desktop app and the Rift's VR interface. The Oculus app now has a wishlist to which you can add games and experiences. When an item in your wishlist goes on sale, you'll be notified. How handy is that? Here's how to use this awesome new feature.

How to add experiences to the Oculus wishlist

These steps are meant for an Oculus app that's been updated to Rift Core 2.0. Be sure to check out our guide on enrolling in the Public Test Channel so that you can get access to pre-release software.

How to enroll in the Oculus Public Test Channel

  1. Launch the Oculus app from your Start menu, desktop, or taskbar.
  2. Click Store.

    Launch the Oculus app. Click Store.

  3. Click an experience you'd like to add to your wishlist.
  4. Click Add to Wishlist.

    Click an experience. Click Add to Wishlist.

The experience can now be found in your wishlist, and in the event it goes on sale, you will receive a notification.

From the Store page, you can also remove a game from your wishlist by clicking the same area that says Added to Wishlist. When hovering your cursor over this section, the button will change to Remove From Wishlist.

How to view your Oculus wishlist

You can view your Oculus wishlist at any time within the Oculus app.

  1. Launch the Oculus app from your Start menu, desktop, or taskbar.
  2. Click Library.
  3. Click Wishlist.

    Click Library. Click Wishlist.

From here, you can visit the experience's Store page by clicking the picture, or you can remove the experience from your wishlist.

  1. Click the Options button. It looks like three dots in a row.
  2. Click Remove.

    Click the options button. Click Remove.

That's it! The experience is now removed from your wishlist.
