Fitting the Oculus Rift properly without accounting for the distance between your eyes, also known as interpupillary distance, just won't do if you want the best VR experience possible. The lenses in your Rift can be adjusted to ensure you're seeing as clearly as possible. Here's how to do it!
How to adjust the lenses in your Rift
Before starting, plug in the Rift and start the Oculus app so that the Rift has something to display. Without an image, you won't be able to find a proper focus.
Locate the adjustment slider on the bottom of the Rift.
Properly fit the Rift on your head.
Depress and move the adjustment slider left or right until you find a suitable focus.
That's really all there is to it. This minor adjustment will make an enormous difference, especially if you've been experiencing any eye strain while in VR.
