A ton of players are headed back to The Commonwealth to reconquer the dregs of the wasteland in Fallout 4 VR, but it's not without a few issues. One that's immediately noticeable is how short your character is, which has to do with the scale settings. Luckily, you can add some lines to an INI file to fix this problem.
How to fix character height issues in Fallout 4 VR
Follow these steps to fix your in-game height.
- Launch File Explorer from the Start menu, desktop, or taskbar.
Click Documents.
- Double-click My Games.
Double-click Fallout4VR.
- Double-click the Fallout4Custom INI file.
Add the following code:
[VR]
fVRScale=80
fKickbackMaxOffset=20.0You can play around with the 80 value to make it something comfortable. 80 is quite tall to match my physical build, but you should find something suitable between there are 75.
- Click File.
Click Save.
