When launching some Oculus Rift games, including Batman: Arkham VR, you might be seeing a LowLevelFatalError window pop up informing you that the game has crashed. That's never what you want to see, but there is a fix for this problem.
ASUS Sonic Suite II or ASUS AI Suite II is likely the problem
Reddit user vanfanel1car recently brought this problem up in the Oculus subreddit, and also posted a fix. Disabling the ASUS Sonic Suite II launcher seemed to do the trick. Removing this software also helped another user on the Oculus forums who was experiencing sound and USB issues with their Rift.
What is ASUS Sonic Suite II? It is a set of tools that's supposed to make your audio experience better on ASUS PCs. Unfortunately, it also doesn't play well with a lot of other programs, and there are many threads in the ASUS forums asking just how exactly you're supposed to remove it.
Simply uninstalling it the normal way might work, so try that first. Use Windows 10's built-in Add or remove programs tool and test to see if your games work. If you're still seeing problems, you might have to delve a bit deeper and take out some of the stuff left behind following an uninstall. Here's how to do exactly that.
