At its E3 press conference, Sony revealed that the PlayStation VR will make its debut on October 13 for $399. The bundled edition — which includes two Move controllers and a tracking camera — will retail for $499.
The console undercuts other HMDs like the Oculus Rift, which has a retail price of $599, as well as the $699 Vive. Sony has announced that it will have 50 games available for PlayStation VR before the end of the year.
Some of those titles include Batman: Arkham VR, which will be exclusive to the headset. Sony also showed off Criterion's Star Wars Battlefront: X-Wing VR, an upcoming patch to Battlefront that lets you pilot anX-Wing in VR. The title will be free if you already own Star Wars: Battlefront on the PlayStation 4.
