What Rift games are coming out in July?

The library of Oculus Rift games continues to grow each month, both on the Oculus Store and on Steam. To help you decide what to save up for, or just to give you something to look forward to, here are the Rift games confirmed to be coming July 2017.

Notable releases this month

Here's what we've found so far!

Lone Echo

Lone Echo (about $40) is coming to you from well-known developer Ready at Dawn, and, whether or not their previous games — including The Order: 1886 — were on your radar, you're going to want to pick this one up.

You play a futuristic robot tasked with aiding the captain of a space station with what turns out to be more than just routine maintenance. Maneuver in zero-gravity environments inside and outside the space station, solve puzzles, and ultimately solve the mystery as to what's happening in the big void. Lone Echo releases July 20, but is now available for preorder.

Echo Arena

Echo Arena, the free multiplayer sibling to Lone Echo, has already been through an open beta test — there's another one July 6 - 10 — and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. This is a competitive game that requires quite a bit of physical activity, and it's aimed at becoming a competitive e-sport.

Again we have a zero-gravity environment, but this time you're inside a futuristic arena littered with obstacles. You and your team must do everything you can to toss a disk into the opposing team's net, whether that means punching, feinting, or performing set plays to get past the defenders. Echo Arena launches July 20 alongside Lone Echo.
